Your Beauty Shouldn’t Be Found In Outward Appearances

Being Beautiful Is More Than Gold Jewelry, Designer Clothes and The Latest Makeup

We have become a society of consumers.

Everyone must have the latest and greatest thing…

Especially when it comes to fashion and beauty products.

Let’s look at the makeup world, run by Kylie Jenner.

Her makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics, is the most popular makeup brand out now.

Her products sell out in minutes and those who can’t get them, pay even a higher price on after-market prices.

Why?

Because most women who buy her makeup perceive it as the ultimate tool to achieve outward beauty.

But as it says in 1 Peter 3:3, beauty should not come from outward admiration.

As that will cause you a life of misery as you worship false idols that make you believe that a certain product will make you beautiful.

You were made in the image of God, he made you specifically beautiful.

When things like makeup, gold, etc are worshiped so you can feel beautiful, it becomes sinful.

There’s nothing wrong with you liking and wearing Kylie Cosmetic products.

But next time you’re waiting to purchase her new line, ask yourself this:

“Am I buying this out of lust to be “beautiful” or to add to the beauty God already blessed me with?”
